Art museums.

Well I'm gonna ramble about some stuff here for a moment. For one: I recently made a fan page for myself (well my art) so my friends could see what i've been doing. And if you've stumbled upon this blog because of that, sweet because you get to enjoy some of my own insights on my paintings and artwork that I don't really post on facebook. (and some bad grammar! sorry.) Another cool thing: I've decided to go to school for art now, and that's a big decision but deff something I can build off of because I'll need to find which area i do really want to go into...I could probably go into every major they have at my school because i like them all and am pretty good at all of them. So this summer I've been racking up on different talents, trying my hand at murals, sketching a TON and even trying to practice my oils every once in a while. Random fact: I've been doing crafts all my life (no surprise) but the cool thing now is to go through the junk in my room and finding the good crafts and seeing how much i've improved till today. It's pretty neat. That reminds me, today my mom's cousin (yeah i know that's kinda strange oh well) came up for a visit and we had this huge talk about art and books. (We're into some pretty cool stuff now.) Like my mom got some new book titles to share with her and she showed me some cool artists (Bev Doolittle, being my fave so far.) Also we had already decided we wanted to spend a day in an art museum, so in a few weeks, I'm getting a ride to the [big city near us]'s art museum and that means a pretty hardcore day. I cant wait to take in all the awesome paintings and the history that goes behind it! Also, the EXTREMELY AWESOME thing about when we're going is this one famous artist's work will be there!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so stoked for that (stoked=excited, not high!!)
